INFORMATION:

Architects for Health invited architectural students to submit projects to be considered for the fourth annual Student Healthcare Design Award in 2010. As in previous years any* project relating to the design of a healthcare building was eligible, however the 2010 competition introduced a greater emphasis on the sample brief - Designing for Death: Hell, Purgatory and Paradise and a specific prize to be awarded for the most successful response to the sample brief we prepared. In 2010, 80 projects were submitted form a total of 103 registrations, 10 were short-listed and winners are to be announced at the award evening on the 26th August at the RIBA in London. The shortlist can be viewed on this website 2010 Short List. AfH invites members, competition entrants (Shortlisted or not), academics and students to attend the award evening which will feature short presentations form the short listed entries
